Fair price,
paid on pass.
List a lot, get matched to a verified buyer, get paid within 72 hours of Rotterdam QC. Your name on the crate. No commission ladder, no anonymous middleman, no haggling over weight tickets weeks after the fact.
In the operators' own words.
We've been working with three cooperatives since the pilot opened; these are the operators, in their own words. All quotes signed, dated, and included in the pack.
Before Importable, the buyer was a telephone number in Antalya and a weight ticket that arrived three weeks late. Now I list on Sunday, the crate is in London on Tuesday, and the EUR is in the account by Friday. My members see the same number I do.
What matters isn't only the price; it's that the price is a band, and the mid doesn't move between the quote and the invoice. I can plan a season from that.
Four steps, every week.
Settlement flow, without the jargon. The same four steps every week.
- 01You list a lot.
Tonnage, grade, harvest window, ask price. Via the app, or WhatsApp, or a phone call to your Importable account manager. Same outcome: a hashed listing with your coop's legal ID on it.
- 02Importable matches it.
Within hours — sometimes minutes. You see the offer: band price, buyer city, delivery window. You accept, counter, or wait.
- 03Goods land in Rotterdam.
QC checks weight, grade, cold-chain, phytosanitary. Pass → invoice clears for payment. Partial → we offer you the repair options on the same day (rework, rebate, reject).
- 04You get paid.
SWIFT to your cooperative's EUR account, within 72 h of QC pass. The outbound wire hash is in your evidence pack; your treasurer can check the receipt without asking us.
Season against season.
UK demand doesn't care where the sun is. It cares about continuity. Cooperatives that list into lean months — the shaded gaps in their origin row — earn a band premium, and first right of refusal on the next season's contract.
What we ask of you.
Documentation is the price of admission to this lane. Not paperwork for its own sake — the evidence pack is what lets the buyer pay your band and not the trader's band.
If your coop is missing one or two of these today, we can help you get there. About 60% of the cooperatives we've spoken to are already at GlobalG.A.P. chain-of-custody; most of the others can be onboarded in a season.
